Interestingly enough many inquire about the metaphysical values of certain minerals or materials.  I have observed that, as is usual, mankind, in general,  is looking for help, assistance, and    betterment of themselves or others.   The thought that specials powers are found as an intricate part of physical matter such as rocks is the question at hand.  Many peoples of the world have worshiped creation, which would include wood, stone, water and the stars , etc.  How would I account for the observation of many and come to my viewof the  "truth" of the matter is this:

As is noted on the home page of this web site is that all things are created by a super power.  This power designed and orchestrated all things that are seen and unseen.  However, my thought is that mankind, that would be us, have looked to   the creation as the great and marvelous.  Great and marvelous it is and was created for us to enjoy and to provide for us  food and shelter.  I feel that where we get lost is when we fail to seek the one who created the majesty.    Some worship the creation rather than the Creator.

When I put together a piece of work and look into the beauty of the materials, one of my favorite is apple green chrysoprase,  I behold the beauty; but my interest repeatedly is directed to who could have created such a magnificent gem.  So does the object, such as various minerals like quartz crystals,  have metaphysical attributes?   

Friends I gladly tell you that to seek the Creator for Himself  is far better than the beauty of His creation.  Yes, the "super power" is available to be known in a personal way.  He created us above  all other things he created, so much so that He created us in His own likeness and in His own image.

Following the separation  of man from his Creator the on going desire of man to find help, assistance, and betterment of ourselves or others  continues.   Many fail to realize their desires can   be fulfilled through regaining the once enjoyed relationship before the fall of man.  This is why God, the great "super power", sent His Son to redeem us and claim for His own all those who call on His name, which is JESUS.

So this is my suggestion regarding the "metaphysical"  look to the One  who created the "physical" as the source of all the help, assistance and betterment that we need.
